Octopus Becomes The Photographer After Stealing Camera

Ben Savard of Middlebury College was amazed when an octopus in his lab grabbed his camera and snapped a few photos.
“I tried to get some photos of an octopus, but it grabbed the camera and got some of me instead!”

While documenting a neuroscience department project, Savard placing a GoPro camera inside the celphalopod's tank. That's when the octopus grabbed the rolling camera, played with it, and aimed it towards Savard.
Savard explained that the project he was documenting focused on testing the extent to which octopuses can learn through observation.
