Snorkeling Technology gets an Upgrade

|   The Tribord Easybreath Snorkeling Mask Facilitates Normal Breathing While Underwater

The use of a tubular apparatus to breathe air while below the water dates back to before 200 B.C. and surprisingly, not much has changed since. Sure, there was a floating ball added to some that prevented water from entering the tube when submerged, but beyond that, the basic design remains. Perhaps the biggest hurdle for snorkelers to get past, is the concept of breathing through your mouth, rather than nose. This in turn has its own set of complicated issues, which includes exhaling through your nose, ultimately fogging up your mask if using one.

Enter Tribord, a water sports company based out of France, who aims to change the way we snorkel, unlocking a whole new world for us to explore with their revolutionary device, the Easybreath snorkeling mask. The mask completely encapsulates the wearers entire face, including the eyes, nose, and mouth, providing a single breathing cavity. Fresh air enters through the inlet channel that prevents water from entering when submerged, and carbon dioxide is expelled through the exhaust channel. Throughout the process, the mask is vented to prevent your whopping 180° unobstructed view from fogging up.

The Tribord Easybreath snorkeling mask is now available in the US market, via Amazon.
